February 21, 2023Our journey began with a swipe right, a shared love of music and arts, paired with weeks of texting. Finally Sujeevan mustered up the courage to make a life-changing phone call. And so began a modern-day love story with endless conversation into the wee hours of the morning. A shared vision of the universe, spirituality and philosophy led to uncontrollable butterflies; emotions that would introduce our inner-children to eachother. All this, and neither of us had set eyes on each other yet...

Our First Date
March 18, 2023The day had come to finally meet! Both anxious and giddy, we met at a local bookstore. It was an organic connection the moment we hugged and we couldn't stop blushing. Sujeevan swept me off my feet with gifts from details of our conversations and we visited a gameboard cafe to get more acquainted. To my surprise, he asked me to be his girlfriend right then and there. Though I thought it very cute and unconventional, I was charmed by the innocence of the ask. A magical commitment was made that day, and we have honoured each other ever since :)

And Then He Proposed!
April 7, 2024Shortly after his birthday, Sujeevan led me to a temple, a place where he has always found the most peace for reflection and growth. He then took a knee and asked me to be his wife! This was the most intimate and meaningful moment for me, and to have a surprise engagement party surrounded by family and friends made it all the more special. So just in case you were wondering, I said "YESSS" :P
